Dear Parents,
Short but sweet note this week! Ee week was just excellent & extremely fun!!
- Next week we will be working on the letter Bb.
· On Wednesday’s review page, please have your child write the names of the pictures underneath. They can use phonetic spelling. Also, please remember that the students should be writing their first and last names at the top.
- Earth Day: please send in a clean, plain white T-shirt for your child with his/her name labeled on the collar before April 2nd. We will be painting them for Earth Day. A little bit larger than usual is a suggestion since they will be wearing them over their regular school clothes.
- Reading Lists: As your child masters each list, please remember to send me in the tall cardstock paper with your initials on it letting me know that your child is ready for the new list. If I test them and they don’t tell me them correctly I will send it back home for more practice. If they just miss one, I will write the word they need practice and I will send the new list home too.
- FRIDAY, MARCH 30th: Is our field trip to see the Lorax!!! We are so excited about it and we are counting down the day. I have my chaperones and we are ready to go. Since we are in a contained area for only 2 hours, I only needed one chaperone per class. I appreciate all the offers for volunteers to help out. Please remember that we are providing your child with a snack that day. Due to allergies, other snacks will not be allowed. Each child will get an apple juice “juice box” and a bag of goldfish.
